🌟 A Wonderful Parents Evening at First Steps Nursery! 🌟

This week we opened our doors for one of our favourite events of the year—Parents Evening—and what a lovely evening it turned out to be. The nursery was buzzing with friendly chats, proud smiles, and plenty of moments that reminded us why our First Steps community is so special.

Families had the chance to talk through their child’s progress with their keyworker, celebrate achievements, and share those little stories that make early years so magical. It’s always a joy to hear how much the children are growing in confidence, curiosity, and character.

Parents were also invited to wander through the rooms where their children learn, play, and create every day. From cosy book corners to imaginative role-play areas, it was wonderful to see families exploring the spaces that their little ones call home during the week.

Of course, no First Steps event would be complete without refreshments—and our tea, coffee, and treats table was very well received. There’s something about a biscuit in hand that makes every conversation even warmer.

One of the highlights of the evening was welcoming back a few older siblings who attended First Steps years ago. They walked in as confident, towering young people—some now as tall as Manager Lauren, and all definitely taller than Deputy Chantelle! It was such a heartwarming reminder of how quickly time flies and how special it is to watch children grow.
