🍂 Autumn Adventures at First Steps Nursery 🎃

Autumn is now in full swing at First Steps with a swirl of golden leaves and crisp breezes, and our little explorers at First Steps Nursery dove right into the seasonal fun!

The nursery was buzzing with excitement as the children got creative carving pumpkins—some spooky, some silly, and all absolutely brilliant. Tiny hands scooped, shaped, and giggled their way through the gooey insides, turning each pumpkin into a masterpiece.

Meanwhile, our older children set off on a magical nature walk. With baskets in hand, they collected a treasure trove of autumn goodies: crunchy leaves in fiery colours, shiny acorns, and twisty twigs. Back at nursery, everyone gathered around to inspect the finds using magnifying glasses. The children were fascinated by the tiny details—veins in leaves, textures on acorns, and patterns in bark. It was like discovering a secret world!

Autumn at First Steps was a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and crunchy leaf piles. We can’t wait to see what our little adventurers get up to next! 🍁🔍✨

As a mum of two, with her eldest starting school this September, she's brought both her children through the nursery.
