🎃 Spooktacular Fun at First Steps Nursery! 👻
Halloween crept into First Steps Nursery in Poole with a cackle and a giggle, and our little ones embraced the spooky spirit with ghoulish glee! From babies to pre-schoolers and even our holiday club, every corner of the nursery was buzzing with creativity, laughter, and just the right amount of Halloween mischief.
🧙♀️ Witches Hats & Biscuit Bats
Our youngest artists got stuck into decorating ice-cream cone witches hats—complete with sprinkles, sparkles, and sticky fingers! Meanwhile, the toddlers whipped up some frightfully delicious bat biscuits, carefully crafting wings and eyes before gobbling them up with delight.
🎃 Pumpkin Power & Slime Time
Over in pre-school, things got extra eerie! Slimy green spaghetti slithered through little fingers in our sensory trays, and the children had a blast scooping out pumpkins and decorating them with spooky flair.
🧛♂️ Dressed to Thrill
Throughout the nursery, children arrived in their spookiest outfits—witches, skeletons, pumpkins, and even a few friendly monsters. The atmosphere was electric with excitement, and the staff joined in the fun too, even making a fun TikTok video over in the holiday club!
Thank you to our wonderful families for helping us celebrate in style. Halloween at First Steps was a frightfully fabulous success—and we’re already dreaming up next year’s tricks and treats!
🕸️ Until next time… stay spooky!
Meet the Team
👋 Meet Erin, our wonderful new apprentice at First Steps! Erin’s journey has come full circle—she attended First Steps as a child and now returns with a passion for nurturing the next generation. She’s excited to pursue her career in childcare and brings a natural curiosity and love of learning to everything she does. Erin spends her time researching fresh activity ideas to keep the children engaged and inspired, and she loves hanging out with friends when she’s not at the nursery. We’re so proud to welcome her back—this time as part of the team!
