The countdown to Christmas is on, and First Steps Nursery is buzzing with excitement — you can almost hear the jingling of bells around every corner!
🧝 A Cheeky Elf Surprise
Our Preschool children had the most magical visitor… Jingles the Christmas Elf! He tip‑toed in with his jingling hat and twinkly smile, and the children were thrilled. Jingles whispered that he’s been keeping an eye on our Preschoolers and — good news — they’re all firmly on the Nice List! The children couldn’t stop giggling as they showed him their festive creations and told him about their Christmas wishes.
🎨 Little Hands, Big Hearts
Across the nursery, glitter has been flying, paintbrushes have been dancing, and tiny fingers have been busy making special Christmas gifts for mummies and daddies. From sparkly baubles to reindeer with the biggest red noses, the children have poured love and laughter into every craft. We can’t wait for families to unwrap these treasures and see the joy inside each one.
🎁 Sharing the Christmas Spirit
Christmas isn’t just about receiving — it’s about giving too. Thanks to the wonderful donations of selection boxes, two of our Preschoolers proudly joined Lauren and Tiff to deliver them to Hope for Food, a local food bank helping families in need. The children were so proud to be “Santa’s helpers” for the day, learning that kindness is one of the best gifts of all.
🌟Meet The Team: Rhia
This month we introduce Rhia!
Rhia is one of our brilliant apprentices who spends her days in Preschool with our older children. The children absolutely adore her — whether she’s joining in their imaginative games, helping them sprinkle glitter on crafts, or reading their favourite Christmas stories, she always brings a big smile and lots of encouragement. One child even said, “Rhia makes everything more fun!” and we couldn’t agree more. Well done, Rhia — you’re a star in our Christmas sky!
