Does anyone else feel like January was at least 74 days long this year? The dark mornings, the early sunsets, the endless drizzle… it’s a month that always seems to test our stamina. But we’ve made it through, and now we get to step into February — a month that brings colour, warmth, and a whole lot of love.
At First Steps, we’re shaking off the winter cobwebs and diving headfirst into a month filled with joy, creativity, and celebration. February might be short, but we’re determined to make it mighty.

🌟 Meet the Team: Introducing Ella 🌟
We are absolutely delighted to introduce Ella this Month.
Ella is our wonderful Baby Room Leader and has been part of the First Steps family since 2010, when she first joined us as an apprentice. Over the years, she has worked her way up through dedication, passion, and a genuine love for early years care.
Her calm, nurturing presence makes her a natural in the baby room, and her commitment to supporting both children and colleagues shines through every single day.
This month is especially joyful for Ella, as she is not only engaged to be married, but has also recently announced that she is expecting her first baby. We couldn’t be happier for her — it’s a beautiful new chapter, and we’re so proud to celebrate her both professionally and personally.
